Our experience with BRES has increased our awareness, knowledge, and overall capacity to become more strategic and intentional instructional leaders. During our Year 1, we accomplished (1) effectively analyzing and responding to data, (2) developing accountability calendars to maximize our time in the classrooms; (3) implementing a system to engage in real-time coaching (administrator to coach and coach to teacher), and (4) engaging in targeted self-reflections to which had a direct impact on student outcomes. I truly appreciate the weekly pushes from BRES to dig deeper into the data ensuring high-leverage standards were targeted and influenced data driven instruction. Amazing experience!

State of Texas Assessments of Academic
Readiness (STAAR®) 2025 Accountability Data:
Big Rock Educational Services is proud to announce significant gains in STAAR 2025 accountability data across our partner campuses.
In the 2024-2025 school year, 81% of BRES partner campuses increased their accountability score, with an average gain across all campuses exceeding 10 points. This contrasts sharply with only 54% of campuses increasing their accountability score statewide.
Across the cohort of campuses served by BRES, 65% improved by at least one letter grade, 30% by at least two, and an exceptional subset even achieved a remarkable gain of three letter grades.
65% of BRES-served campuses improved their letter grade by at least one letter grade. This contrasts sharply with the statewide improvement rate of just 31% of campuses statewide improving their accountability letter grade.
BRES campuses also demonstrated exceptional overall performance, relative to the state average. Five times as many BRES campuses achieved an A or B rating when compared to the state average.
